Pittenweem Arts Festival

There is nothing better than an Arts Festival on your doorstep –  and the wonderful thing about living in Pittenweem during the August Arts Festival is the fact that you can cross so many “doorsteps”. The reason for this, is that visiting artists are encouraged to find local residences, businesses and community spaces to exhibit some of the best arts and crafts.

Papa Stour enjoyed visiting many of the Venues at the Pittenweem Art Festival which was held this year from the 6th to 14th August,  but our favourites included (of course) the talented Papa Stour Artists: Alison MacLeod, Angharad McLaren, Elin Iskasson, Kirsty Thomas and Lara Scobie.

In other houses, gardens and fish lofts dotted around Pittenweem there were lots of other great artists , including these :-
